Scottish Country Dance Group

The Scottish Country Dance Group meets weekly on Tuesday nights from 8.00pm.

The present membership is around 25 strong, made up of members across a wide age group.

The group was originally established in 1984 on the suggestion of then Minister, The Rev. James Aitchison.

Since that time, the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society's publications have been used to learn new dances, whilst many old favourites are also performed.

Over the years a number of dances have also been composed by group members, notably 'Broomhill Capers', 'Broomhill Gardeners' and a Strathspey celebrating the church centenary, 'Braw Broomhill!'

New members or visitors would be made most welcome at the group - please contact the Church Office for further details.
